To celebrate the third anniversary of the Miles & More app, you now have the chance to become a Senator with Uptrip. As part of the “The Grand Scan” giveaway, Uptrip will award the Senator Status a total of three times between April 10 and May 22, 2026.
The Grand Scan – How You Can Become a Senator
Similar to the Senator Status giveaway in 2025, Uptrip once again focuses on scanning QR codes at various airports. However, this time there are more ways to participate:
- QR codes at so-called Uptrip “Specials” locations
- QR codes in Miles & More Worldshops in Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, and Vienna
- Promotional banners within the Uptrip app
Hint: As Uptrip posted the real QR code for the Worldshops on their instagram posts, there is a shortcut to redeem it…
The “Specials” announcement refers to additional locations outside of the Worldshops. These are likely in or around airports where QR codes will be placed. Known are already posters that can be found around the lounges in Brussels, Zurich and Geneva. Uptrip has also stated that more airports will probably join the campaign over time.
Each of the three entry points can be used once. This means you have up to three chances to participate per person. If you want to better estimate your personal chances of winning, we have prepared a dedicated article for that.
Uptrip Senator Status and Additional Prizes
In addition to the Senator Status, Uptrip is also awarding other prizes. Your prize will be displayed immediately upon participation:
- 3 × Senator Status
- 10 × flight vouchers worth €300 each
- Guaranteed anniversary participation card
The participation card differs depending on the entry point. This results in a total of five card designs within the app (Gold card = Senator; Silver cards = flight vouchers; 3 Bronze anniversary cards). An exclusive preview of the anniversary designs.
All awarded cards are non-original Uptrip cards.

We are excited to see the Uptrip Senator Status return in 2026. The community will likely be pleased, as frequent flyer status remains one of the most requested rewards.
